Imagine a scene from the 1980’s. I’m in my basement with an 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System and the class game of Zelda.
As I start the game, there’s a single black tile on the map. I walk into it to find an old man in the mountain, telling me that it’s dangerous to go alone.
What he says next, though, is something I still reflect on to this day. It’s an aspect of my life and my career that has become more and more important, as time moves on.
The idea that you *can* do everything on your own … it’s just not reasonable.
